Each year, Father’s Day is celebrated on the third day of June. It is a perfect excuse to show appreciation and trust for the man we love.
According to one story, the biggest initiator of Father’s Day celebration was Sonora Smart Dodd, whose father raised nine children as a single parent. The idea of Father’s Day came to Sonora’s mind when she heard about the first celebration of Mother’s Day as she felt that every father should have their own celebration as well. Finally on 19th June, 1910 the first Father’s Day was held in Spokane.
Father’s Day is a great excuse to spoil one of the most important men in your life, DAD. Whether you are far away or at the same place there are many ways to celebrate.
